Little Rock, Arkansas

Murray Lock and Dam:
Pulaski County Pedestrian and Bicycle bridge at Murray Lock and Dam on the Arkansas River. The longest pedestrian/bicycle bridge in the world designed and built for that purpose.

The city of Little Rock.

A nice park just down the road from the dam.

We've had rain every day here in Arkansas. Tuesday we endured 3 tornado warning sirens and headed to the laundry facility here. Then yesterday while it was pouring rain and thundering it started hailing almost golf ball sized hail. The large hail lasted for a few minutes then changed to smaller size hail.
Amazing weather around here. Arkansas residence say they get deep snow in the winter, hot & humid summers, rainy springs with tornadoes and hail and sometimes hurricane winds. They get it all here!

Little Rock, Arkansas H: upper 80s L: 60s

We arrive in Arkansas late yesterday afternoon.
It's hot today. Hope it cools off or we'll be going north as soon as we can.

Missouri H: 60s-70s L: 40s

These are photos of our drive through southern Missouri last week. There was a roadside park where we stopped and took a short break. It was a beautiful river and waterfall. The dogwoods were in bloom too.

There was a controlled forest fire in Mark Twain National Forest.

As we cross the river to get into Branson the
Bass Pro Shops seems to greet us.

Twin Lakes Campground; Clemson, SC H: 50's L: 30s

This is a beautiful campground, one of our favorites! We are in South Carolina to have a fundraiser for the ministry. It went great!
Now we are on our way to Tennessee and finally to Missouri!

Kings Bay, Ga. on the military base

We stopped by here for a few days again on our way back north. We are headed to Missouri to speak at a Christian conference.
This is a great military campground because of the amenities it offers: free laundry, free Wi Fi and a great recreation facility with a fully equipped kitchen.

Here are a few photos of the alligators in the lake that the campground is on.
