Fort Laramie, Wyoming

We camped right inside the town of Fort Laramie and the train ran right next to the campground! Exciting for the children, but kinda loud.

It was awesome though being in such an old, famous town! It was a great history experience. People often tell us that most children are in school learning this from textbooks, while ours are getting to see it and live it! We agree.
This bridge was just right down the road from the campground.

I've read about and seen photos of super large produce up in Alaska, but we're not in Alaska, are we? Their dandelions are humongous compared to the ones in the southern states!!

Loveland, Colorado

We stopped over in Loveland on our way to Wyoming. This campground was pretty nice, but the Cottonwood trees were at their peak of bloom and blowing everywhere! It looked like snow falling and on the ground.

More of Rocky Mtn National Park

Wow! I wish we were there now. Cooler temperatures. Clear air. Higher elevation. Nice! BUT I'd have to take my mom with me!! :) How about it Mom? You ready?

Look at the awesome shadows of the clouds over the mountains! I LOVE being able to see so far.

There's a big bird in this photo at the top of the tree if you look closely, then you can see it.

These photos were taken in the middle of June!

The elk were at the bottom of the Mountains outside of the park.
They constantly roam the town of Estes Park, Co.

This elk statue sits at a corner in the town.
