One day we went to Peterson's Air Force Base, about 30 minutes south of Colorado Springs, to tour this airplane, look at other airplanes and go to the visitor's center.The visitor's center was once the Airport Terminal and had a few items from it's beginnings. One of the items we thought was interesting was an old pilot's log book with the date, the pilot's name, the name of the aircraft, the departure city and the amount of time it took to travel from place to place. Here we also watched an interesting video on the history of the base. We had fun! And of course it was another beautiful, sunny day here! I'm sure all this sunshine keeps the people smiling all the time. It really is great weather!
