We traveled one day on the ferry to cross the St. John's River to get to a plantation called Kingsley Plantation on Fort George Island. We had been there once before years ago.
On our drive out, we saw an armadillo on the side of the dirt road.
Then we passed this beautiful welcome center that was closed, unfortunately, but we decided to walk around and take photos of the place.

After passing the armadillo and visiting the outside of the welcome center, we then passed a peacock as it was strolling down the road as if he owned it. We passed a truck stopped on the road with Alaska license plates who was also taking photos. I wonder what he was thinking about this peacock.
