The campground in Sonora,Tx was sitting next to a sheep farm, so we got plenty of photos of the sheep!
While in Pecos, Tx one night Hunter and Christian took photos of the helicopter that was at the airport. The airport sits right next to the campground.
They also spotted this roadrunner!
We drove 3 full days then finally reached New Mexico! Whew, we were tired when we finally got into Carlsbad!Drive to Carlsbad from Pecos:
I love being able to see at a distance, especially watching storms roll across the great plains.
Carlsbad Caverns:The visitors center sits at 6,535 feet in elevation while the city sits at only 3200! Here is the view from the visitors center.
