Nebraska

We traveled through Nebraska as we headed back south.

All of the above photos are of the western half of Nebraska. Now we arrive in the eastern half where we stop and camp for a few days. We found this great campground for a few nights after much driving!

Near the campground was a flooded river. When we drove into the town there was a road we couldn't take because at the bottom of the hill was the flooded river! It was amazing to see this flood! The people who live in this area have to drive an hour north or south just to cross the river!

This beautiful home overlooked the river (in the photo below it) that is now flooded.
The flood was amazing to see. Strange to be around such natural disasters!

Watch the deer crossing the road!

Now we leave Nebraska and head for Missouri!

and then through the southern tip of Illinois!

Wyoming

We went for a drive one evening and found all this wildlife! It was great!

Our sons have had the opportunity to keep their commitment to Civil Air Patrol as we have traveled throughout the U.S. This has been a great experience for them: being in Civil Air Patrol and being able to experience other squadrons around the U.S! Here they are all graduating from their week encampment with the Wyoming Wing. Awesome!
