In the small town of Livingston, TX; H: 80s L: low 60s

We are here at Escapees in Livingston, TX. Escapees is an RV Club. They do not consider this a campground, but a RV Resort and Park. There are quite a few amenities here which include: pool, Mail room, mailbox at bathhouse (most campgrounds do not have a mailbox for the campers), bathhouse, Rec Room, the Escapees office, Club House, Care Center for seniors and lots of activities planned for the "community" who live here. Many retired folks buy a lot here and park their motor home on the lot and then build a small home and carport for the motor home.

The Club house where you can watch T.V. on a large flat screen, find DVDs and VHS videos to rent for a 3 day period (on an honor system), plenty of puzzles and tables and a large kitchen for planned activities.
Fire pit with picnic tables all around.

Escapees office and mail room for those living here.

This is a dry camp spot or some call it boondocking. This is a great way to camp for free, or for a large discount, but there are not any hook-ups (no electricity, water or sewer). This RV, however, has solar panels and increases the ability to boondock for a longer period of time.

These are some of the many homes located throughout the park.

Bath house with the mail box sitting out front! A good thing for us!

Rec room with pool out front.
