We drove from Ohio to Joliet, Illinois, a 7 hour trip, and stayed here one night. We felt a pull to move on Northwest, so we didn't stay longer. Steve and I are up and walking/jogging in the mornings and we met a lady who was hoeing her garden. She was really sweet and had a beautiful, neat garden. She shared her collard greens with us! Yummy!
This bridge we crossed only minutes away from the campground. Looks a lot like the one we crossed in Louisville, KY.The others are photos of our drive along the way towards Wisconsin! Lots more corn and soybean too, really. Some of the photos are hard to see unless you click on them to enlarge them.
We left all of the photos of the farmland and farms so that you could see that these farms really were miles upon miles and hours upon hours of Illinois.
